With over 15 years of experience in three different states, Tricia Braun has developed an economic development approach that acknowledges that every project or community is unique and therefore requires a solid understanding of its strengths and complexities in order to create solutions that will be embraced and supported by decision-makers and stakeholders, all while having a positive long-term impact on the region.
Most recently, Tricia served as the Director of Economic Development of the City of Riverside, California, where she led a team responsible for bringing in thousands of new jobs, and coordinated the development and implementation of “Seizing Our Destiny”, Riverside’s strategic vision that focuses on a government-education-neighborhood-business collaborative approach to improving the quality of life in the city.
In May 2012, a family-related move from California to Wisconsin necessitated Tricia’s departure from the City of Riverside. While incredibly bittersweet, she used this opportunity to launch her own economic development consulting firm, The T. Braun Company (aka The Braun Company). During the past year, she has enjoyed working as a "Lone Eagle" on a variety of projects in California, Minnesota and Wisconsin - including a feasibility study for a potential coworking space currently being prepared for Waunakee.
